This thread will serve as a repository for errata and FAQs for Freebooters.
Skills Skills are additional learned talents that help individualize characters. Most characters start with one skill at first level, after they pick their class. Every odd level (3, 5, 7, 9) they gain an extra skill. Musketeers and Strikers must choose skills from the General Skills (in addition, Strikers can also take Swimming if they wish). Sea Rovers can select skills from the General and Sea Rover skill list. Bokor do not get a skill at first level (they're studying spells) but starting at 3rd level pick one skill every 2 levels selected from the General Skills and Bokor list. The Referee can also assign skills to NPCs to create specialists such as doctors.
On p. 9, Attribute Tests, delete the first half of the first sentence, instead beginning the sentence "There may be times On p. 98, delete the first paragraph (skills in Freebooters are not like 3e skills; they're actually closer to Feats or class abilities, and often no check is needed).
